C.R.E.T.A. Rome is pleased to invite you to the two-person exhibition Silent Earth by October’s artists-in-residence, Lauren Downton (Australia) and Rue Asher (UK). Downton explores the layering and precarious balance of the vessel as a metaphor for the human form, while Asher draws from painting, translating it onto ceramic surfaces through a dynamic interplay of sharp, straight, and curved planes with enveloping drips. The exhibition, curated by Paolo Porelli and Lori-Ann Touchette, will take place at the C.R.E.T.A. Rome gallery at Via dei Delfini 17 on October 30, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.
