Terra Spencer ♪ Music Nova Scotia’s 2025 Entertainer of the Year ♪ Sat. April 18. 8pm“As natural a poet as ever put pen to paper” – David Francey
“Frigging wicked” – Matt Andersen
Her four albums have received accolades, and her collaborators (and occasional touring partners) include the likes of Ben Caplan, Dave Gunning, and Kim Dunn, in addition to David Francey, who welcomed Terra as a co-writer and performer on his 2024 JUNO Award winning album The Breath Between.
As a fun-loving and fearless solo performer, Terra has played some of Canada's most renowned festivals, including Mariposa, Stan Rogers Folk Festival, and Lunenburg Folk Harbour Festival, where her Maritime waltz "Lunenburg Moon" has become an unofficial anthem.
Terra's fourth album, Sunset, features guests from East to West, including Matt Andersen, and Stephen Fearing. It was co-winner of the Penguin Eggs/Roots Music Canada Critics' Choice Album of the Year, Music Nova Scotia’s Folk/Roots Recording of the Year, and a nominee for an East Coast Music Award. Sunset has also earned Canadian Folk Music Award nominations for Solo Artist and English Songwriter of the Year, to be announced a week before Terra’s Folk Night show.
Terra Spencer’s onstage ease, spirited spontaneity, and crackling East Coast wit make each show feel like a knee-to-knee conversation. Please join us for the best in East Coast music at The Registry Theatre and on YouTube Live. Tickets are available through www.folknight.ca for $24 (advance) and $20 (Live Stream), $27 (door).
