'YOU TIME'!Join us for an ART � ADVENTURE Thursday mornings 9.45am -12 noon.
An exploration of paint play... splashing some paint about with artist � Leslie's step by step guidance on our specially curated 8 wk programme.
FUN � FIRST in ou friendly creative space to relax, learn & create together!
ART � ADVENTURE is our own special programe designed to dive you deep into your creative heart.
It's flexible, inspiring, full of materials, inspiration, guidance & equipment (we provide everything arty to get you going), to make your arty aspirations reality.
Take a breather to rejuvenate yourself with this 8 week guided ART � ADVENTURE exploring a variety of subjects, techniques, skills and joyful expression in acrylics.
We will swap up the canvases from large, small, square, round and rectangular.
We will use brushes, palette knives, add mediums to our paint to change performance and all the while learn composition, tonal values and colour mixing.
It's FUN � FIRST, it's relaxed, the studio is a lovely safe space for beginners & intermediate painters alike to chat over coffee, explore at the easel and take home 6 gorgous paintings to hang in pride of place!
All this with friendly professional artistic guidance from Leslie our lead artist & facilitator. You'll feel right at home at the easel, with other like minded creatives (of all ages & stages) ....you belong here!
Term Two starts Thursday April 30th until the last Thursday of June, spanning over Kings Birthday & Matariki public holidays.
What will we paint?
We draw inspiration from nature with a luscious landscape � & an exuberant floral bouquet �.
We learn about one of the classic painters � and emulate the style of an iconic image (our way) .
We create a contemporary still life for foodies ���with a modern twist.
And ofcourse we will whip up an abstract portrait... � who shall it be?
