About this Event
As part of our Link and Learn program, the ICAA, Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, at Coral Gables Museum proudly presents the inaugural Teofilo Victoria Lecture series, featuring Victor Dover, a nationally recognized leader in city planning, neighborhood design, and street design.
Victor Dover has led over 200 charrettes and lectures widely on livable communities and sustainable development. He is coauthor of the groundbreaking book Street Design: The Secret to Great Cities and Towns (Wiley, 2014) with John Massengale. A Fellow of both the American Institute of Certified Planners and the Congress for the New Urbanism (CNU), Victor has served as national chair of CNU and received both the Seaside Prize and the John Nolen Medal for his contributions to urbanism.
An adjunct faculty member at the University of Miami, Victor has also served as president of the Parks Foundation of Miami-Dade, a board member of the National Recreation & Parks Association, and currently serves on the board of the Tropical Audubon Society.
