Tenx9 Newark Storytelling: Heat

Join us for a sizzling evening of true stories told live and in person. This month, Tenx9 Newark explores the theme of Heat — from blazing summers and heated encounters to moments of passion, pressure, anger, desire, or unexpected warmth.

Expect an evening full of connection, laughter, honesty and surprises as nine storytellers each share a true story from their lives in just ten minutes.

Whether you come to tell a story or simply to listen, you’ll be part of a welcoming night that celebrates community, creativity and shared experience.

Hosted by award-winning Newark author Emma Oldham, this month’s event invites stories inspired by the theme of Heat. As always with Tenx9, the theme is open to interpretation.

Maybe you’ve lived through an unbearably hot moment, experienced rising tempers or rising temperatures, travelled somewhere tropical, or found yourself in a situation that became a little too intense.
