Join us for another great show!TenX9 Galveston is a storytelling group. Nine storytellers tell a 10 minute true story about their lives. It originated in Belfast Ireland.
We’ve been doing it for over a year now at The Old Galveston Club. We do it on the last Wednesday of every month. The shows are free. We are always looking for new storytellers and new audience members. If you’re interested in telling a story, you can sign up in advance. But we highly request everyone come to a show first to see what it’s all about.
It’s really a great time, it’s exciting and exhilarating and funny and sad sometimes. Everyone is accepted, and everyone is celebrated.
The title for this show is mom. The storytellers can use that word as inspiration for their stories or choose not to. But it is just the title and the general theme of the show. Of course we do hope to hear stories and true stories about people’s mothers. But any true story works. Nobody is keeping score. We always have a great time. Please come and join us.
