Tennis and Pastries | Soft Serve Club Launch
About this Event
No competition. No pressure. Just good tennis, good company and good pastries!
Join us for our launch event, a relaxed session of social tennis suited to women of all skill levels.
This beginner-friendly event will involve:
- Meeting new people
- Light movement
- Fun rallies
- Pastries after play (we recommend Park Side Coffee or walking over to Hyde Park for coffee after the event)
With the support of our experienced team on the day, who will run through drills, this non-competitive session gives players the opportunity to develop their tennis skills and create new friendships. Our team will be available to help beginners get comfortable on court.
The session will start with 15 minutes of rotating drills led by our on-day coach. The tennis will then begin! Expect around an hour of non-competitive tennis and, if you're feeling up for more, you're welcome to stay on longer for a social hit. The pastries will be rolled out around 11 am!
How do you cater for different experience levels?
At check-in, you'll be given a sticker that reflects your tennis experience level and helps us create a fun, comfortable experience for everyone.
Choose the group that feels most like you:
- Never played
- Beginner / a little rusty
- Intermediate / Advanced
We'll use this as a guide for some activities and court allocations throughout the day, but there will be plenty of opportunities to mix, mingle and meet other players.
Balls are supplied. BYO racquet, please!
