Join us for a special Pride bar crawl through the Tenderloin, celebrating the neighborhood’s deep LGBTQ+ and Trans history, culture, and legacy.
The Tenderloin Pride Bar Crawl is a free guided neighborhood experience led by drag queen tour guides who will take guests through select Tenderloin bars while sharing stories about the people, places, and movements that helped shape LGBTQ+ history in San Francisco and beyond.
From historic nightlife spaces to powerful moments in Trans activism and queer resistance, the Tenderloin has long been a neighborhood of resilience, creativity, and community. This event is an opportunity to honor that legacy while supporting local bars and gathering in celebration of Pride.
Guests can expect drink specials at each stop, lively storytelling, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere throughout the evening. There will be 4 stops on the route, starting at the Bourbon & Branch speakeasy library!
How It Works
Your free RSVP includes:
- Access to the guided Tenderloin Pride Bar Crawl
- A historical walking tour led by drag queen tour guides
- Stops at 4 participating Tenderloin bars
- Drink specials available for purchase at each stop
- A Pride-centered neighborhood experience celebrating Trans and LGBTQ+ history
Guests will check in at the official starting location, then follow the tour guides as they lead the group through the Tenderloin. Along the way, our guides will share stories about the neighborhood’s role in LGBTQ+ history, Trans movements, nightlife, activism, and community building.
What to Expect
This is a social, celebratory, and educational Pride event. Guests will move together as a group from stop to stop, with opportunities to grab drinks, meet new people, learn local history, and support Tenderloin bars.
The event is free to attend, but guests are encouraged to purchase drinks or food at participating locations to support the local businesses hosting us.
Please note that this is a 21+ event. A valid government-issued ID will be required to enter participating bars.
