Before a nation takes the field, their story is already being told around a the table. A plate of food can tell you as much about a place as any history book. The spices people reach for, the ingredients they celebrate, the dishes they pass down from one generation to the next, these are the stories of who they are. Football isn't so different. It is pride, memory, struggle, joy, and identity carried onto a field.

This year, ten African nations have earned their place on football's biggest stage. We're celebrating them the best way we know how: through food.

In this hands-on cooking workshop, we'll prepare ten dishes inspired by the ten African countries competing in 2026 World Cup. As we cook, we'll explore the stories, ingredients, and traditions that have shaped these cuisines. Around the stove and around the table, we'll create space for conversation and connection.

When the cooking is done, we'll sit down together to share the meal we've created, a feast that celebrates not only the teams representing Africa on the world stage, but the communities, histories, and cultures behind them.

Come hungry. Leave with a full stomach, a few new skills, and a deeper appreciation for the stories food can tell.
