Hear from Willmott Dixon, the lead contractor on the work to develop Darlington Town Centre. In May, Darlington Borough Council signed a Joint Venture agreement with developer Cityheart for transformational plans for the town. Willmott Dixon will be able talk through the ambitious plans, which includes a new commercial quarter around the Darlington Economic Campus, urban residential neighbourhoods as well as a flagship STEM Centre, delivering a modern training centre at the Science Park.
You will also hear from Kier Construction. Kier Construction is the main contractor delivering the Government Hub in Darlington, which will serve as the permanent, state-of-the-art home for the Darlington Economic Campus (DEC). The project aims to utilise local supply chain and the local workforce.
