Das mittlerweile legendäre Institut für Feinmotorik (IFF), eine 1997 in Basel gegründete Künstlergruppe, ist nach mehrjähriger Pause wieder als Trio unterwegs. Es präsentiert eine Performance für acht präparierte Turntables und vier DJ-Mixer. Der kanadische Medienkünstler Mark Templeton hat ein besonderes Händchen für die Manipulation von Tonbandschleifen. Anlässlich von Temple of Faitiche wird er sein letztes Album Two Verses als A/V-Performance präsentieren – inklusive Tonbandspulen und VHS-Material.

The now legendary Institut für Feinmotorik (IFF), an artist collective founded in Basel in 1997, is back as a trio after a break of several years. They will present a performance for eight prepared turntables and four dj-mixers. The Canadian media artist Mark Templeton is a unique hand at tape loop manipulation. On the occasion of Temple of Faitiche, he will present his last album "Two Verses" as an A/V performance - tape reels and VHS footage included.
