The writing workshop takes place in the literature & art & (inter)cultural space STARKE FEDERN/TELLYOURTRUTH in Dresden Neustadt or, in exceptional cases, online.
In small groups of up to six participants, we offer intensive support in writing and constant exchange about writing for adults who write/want to write poetry and prose, poems, novels and short stories or texts for theater.
We write and discuss texts, develop text projects, try out writing techniques, and refine the style. We talk about topics, ideas and concepts for texts and text projects, work on them on site and at home and on our writing process. Exercises in creative, autobiographical and literary writing help us develop the texts. On the way to longer texts, we write everything that enriches the process. The methodology ranges from creative writing to (auto)biographical writing, and makes excursions into fantasy writing or other genres. Through intensive exchange, professional feedback and personal coaching, we arrive at literary writing for our own texts and projects. Fine art, music, perception techniques, biographical work and relaxation exercises are also used for inspiration.
The course is a regular offer and takes place twice a month. The monthly fee for 2x2 hours is €80. Participation and a trial session (one session for €40) can be started by arrangement. Please register in advance. If you have any questions, I am happy to be available!

Sarah Rehm has been leading workshops since 2010, providing inspiration, structure and encouragement for writing. STARKE FEDERN/TELLYOURTRUTH also organizes readings.
Sarah Rehm * 1982, born in Dachau, lives in Dresden. Author of poetry, prose, drama and essays. Graduated cultural scientist in creative writing & cultural journalism at the University of Hildesheim. Founder and director of the StarkeFedern writing workshops and the intercultural project TellYourTruth. Works in the theater and as an editor. Publications of poetry and prose in literary magazines such as EDIT, OSTRAGEHEGE, die horen, on signaturen and poetenladen. Scholarship holder of the Arno Schmidt Foundation, the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony. Participant in the Klagenfurt literature course.
STARKE FEDERN is also available for young people from 12 years for creative and literary writing and adults also on German.
