In an age where lived experience is increasingly valued, how we tell our stories matters more than ever. Telling Stories Safely is a powerful and thought provoking workshop led by Darren McGarvey, exploring the responsibility that comes with sharing personal narratives, especially those rooted in trauma.
Drawing on themes from his book Trauma Industrial Complex, Darren invites participants to reflect on the emotional, ethical and social impact of storytelling. This session creates space to consider boundaries, consent, audience and self care, challenging the idea that more exposure is always better.
