Tell Your Story: Confidence and Media Skills for Social Enterprise Leaders
About this Event
Do you want to say yes to press and promotion opportunities but are unsure where to start? Join us for an introduction to press relations for your social enterprise, where we’ll cover how to engage with journalists, how to build your message and how to do a media interview.
We’ll also discuss the visible and ‘invisible’ barriers that can make media interviews, and public speaking, feel daunting and the tools you could use to overcome them. While the session is focused on press, a lot of the information can be applied to social media and speaking engagements, although this won’t be the focus.
You’ll walk away with:
- a template press releases
- the beginnings of a media list
- the confidence to say yes to press!
