Oregon’s state forests are at a tipping point. After decades of industrial clearcutting and overharvesting, wildlife is disappearing, salmon streams are suffering, and our climate challenges are getting worse. Now, we finally have a chance to push back. The Oregon Department of Forestry’s new Forest Management Plan is open for public comment, and your voice matters. This plan will shape how western Oregon’s state forests are managed for the next ten years. Attend the public hearing and tell the Board of Forestry you support responsible forest management that protects wildlife, clean water, and our climate—not more clearcutting.
