The Getting Started with Telehealth module is an interactive online training designed to help individuals build essential telehealth digital skills. Participants learn to use video conferencing on various devices, communicate with providers via online portals, and more—empowering them to access the care they need. This module is part of Heartland Forward’s Connecting the Heartland initiative, which aims to enhance internet access, speeds, and adoption rates throughout America’s heartland. The training covers what telehealth entails, logging in, available healthcare services, and how to prepare for virtual appointments. Your participation will open doors for community members to utilize telehealth services, proven to enhance access to healthcare and improve patient outcomes.
