Join the Tejano Genealogy Society of Austin! This group meets to learn from local historians, discuss topics in Texas history, upcoming events, and collaborate on ongoing research projects. The Thursday study groups on the third Thursday of each month is an open study group to help people with their genealogy research.
This program takes place in the Media Library at the MACC, which is a great place to bring your laptop or book and relax in our reading nook. You can also explore our extensive collection of archival books on Latin American art and culture. The TGSA meetings and the media library in general are free and open to all!
The Tejano Genealogy Society of Austin also has monthly meetings on the first Saturday of the Month to discuss research projects, hear from local historians, and plan events. Join them for that meeting as well! Both the Thursday Study Group and the Saturday Meetings are free and open to the public.
