Tees Valley Salsa's first Saturday of every month social! For March, we are incredibly excited to welcome the legendary Nicolai Vigneswaren to our dance floor! 💃🕺As well as our regular social on the evening, we will have an optional afternoon workshop too! With over 30 years of experience, Nicolai is a true veteran of the dance world and a driving force behind the salsa communities across the country. He is renowned for his effortless social dancing and unmatched technical excellence. Nicolai doesn't just teach patterns; he breaks down the "how" and "why" with a methodical, easy-to-follow style that works for everyone.
*******************AFTERNOON WORKSHOP*******************
If you want to learn from one of the very best and improve your technique whilst dancing, this is the afternoon for you! Known for his approachable and friendly vibe, Nicolai makes even the most complex techniques feel fun, smooth, and accessible.
The workshop will be bookable and payable in advance so we can limit numbers and ensure similar numbers of leaders and followers. We aim to give everyone the best learning experience with Nicolai during this cross body salsa workshop.
The workshop will take place between 12pm and 4pm at Egglescliffe Community Centre. There will be three hours of teaching over the afternoon allowing our brains to relax between, ask Nicolai questions, practice dancing the moves and of course refuel! We recommend people to bring a packed lunch - we will supply tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits!
Please note, the workshop will be aimed at improver/intermediate level. If you're not sure, please just ask!

March is a while away so we are offering some early bird prices for those wanting to book soon. Please note, places for the afternoon workshop will be limited and we expect it to fill up quickly.

There is no need to book for the evening social - just turn up and dance! Nicolai will be teaching a salsa class on the evening.
There will be fantastic music all night long by Graham (aka DJ Alto) - predominantly salsa with a good mix of bachata and kizomba 🎧

💃🕺Class: 8.30pm til 9.30pm
💃🕺Social dancing: 9.30pm til 1am
💃🕺Cost: £12 (no booking required just turn up on the night as always)
Yarm Fellowship Hall is a fabulous venue with a great dance floor, lots of space and seating areas🥰 Don't forget to bring any drinks and nibbles you want for a great social night!! 🕺💃😀😍🥳
