About this Event
The Tees Valley Writers’ Room is back! Join other local writers for our second workshop – an interactive group-crit session to share your writing and receive friendly feedback and encouragement.
The loose theme for the session is ‘voice’: bring a short reading of your fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction (or anything else!) and we’ll delve into what makes your writing distinctively yours. The workshop is aimed at established writers looking to hone their craft, rather than beginners; if you’re unsure whether to attend, please just enquire on details below.
On Monday 16th March, Jonny Aldrige and Carmen Marcus shall be leading the session at 11:30pm-1:30pm at the Institute of Thrifty Ideas.
Numbers are limited to ensure we have time for all attendees’ readings. Writers are invited to bring up to one page of text (size 12, double-spaced).
