Teens Shakespeare Devised Project( 11+)

This is the coolest 2x per month performance-based Shakespeare class (with optional materials to turn it into a literature study class) for high schoolers and middle schoolers! 1st three classes are drop-in style so you can check it all out before committing!
The best part is that they truly understand what Homeschoolers need. Siblings and parents can hang out in neighboring rooms during class time and have a dance party, or do schoolwork, or just hangout with other friends there too.
class description:
Do you love Shakespeare? Do you hate Shakespeare? Do you not care about Shakespeare at all? Is this the first time you're hearing the name "Shakespeare"? Great! Then this is the project for you! Throughout our time together we will use Shakespeare's many works as a guide to explore storytelling themes, human behavior and psychology, and what makes his plays maintain their relevance to this day. Then, using music, costumes, props, set pieces, Shakespeare's words, and each inividual's passion and direction, every participant will craft their own Solo Shows, where they will be both playwright and actor. This is an incredible opportunity for anyone interested in Shakespeare, playwrighting, devised work, acting, music, dramaturgy, and that's just the tip of the quill!
All participants will have the opportunity for additional assignments outside of the class. (Which is especially useful if it is supplemental to a literature class a high schooler may be studying.)
The class will end in an invited performance on the Metropolis Stage where everyone will have the chance to present their own devised show Jan 15, 2027.
