Teen Nature Journaling - Poetry and Art

Roaches, beetles, and spiders might not be the first animals that come to mind when you think about poetry and artwork, yet many poets and visual artists celebrate their beauty. In this class, teens will engage in generative activities that involve observation, creative prompts, and sketching. By the end of class, each participant will have written a poem and created a piece of artwork inspired by an arthropod. A nature journal and writing utensil is included in this class.
