Calling all teens! Have you ever dreamed of hanging out at the Library after hours—just you, your friends, and a whole building of books? Make that dream come true!
Join us to kick off our Summer Reading Challenge at the Gilroy Library at the annual Teen Library Lock-In, an exclusive after-hours party just for teens ages 13 to 18!
Come play games, win prizes, and make a whole summer's worth of memories in one night!

Complete a library-wide Scavenger Hunt
Try your hand at team challenges and win prizes
Dinner & snacks provided!
Although this event is free to attend, All participants must submit a permission slip signed by a parent or legal guardian. Completed permission slip MUST be submitted by 9PM on Tuesday, June 16th. No late slips accepted!
Permission slips will be available to pick up from the second-floor Information Desk and are available to download at https://tinyurl.com/4pxh3wjz
Permission slip MUST be completely filled out AND signed by both the teen participant and their parent/legal guardian.
Participants must be in the Gilroy Library by 5:30PM on the day of the event. Check-in is at 5:45PM, and the party begins at 6:00PM, when the Library closes to the public. All participants will be "locked in" until 10:00PM, at which time they will be released to their designated pick-up person. No early release—once you're in, you're in!
