TEEN CLASS: Watercolor Workshop (Ages 13-18)
Dive into the colorful world of watercolor in this fun and relaxed one-day class for teens! Using pre-printed designs to remove the stress of drawing, students will explore foundational watercolor techniques while creating their choice of a sea turtle or puffer fish painting inspired by ocean life. Together, we’ll learn how watercolor flows, blends, and layers to create vibrant underwater artwork full of personality and movement.
What You’ll Learn:
Watercolor basics: brushes, water control, and color mixing
Techniques for layering, blending, and creating soft textures
How to use wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry watercolor techniques
Guided steps to complete a colorful ocean creature painting
Tips for building confidence and developing your own creative style
All Materials Included: Just bring curiosity and creativity!
This workshop is designed for beginners and creative teens of all skill levels. Students will leave with a finished painting, new watercolor skills, and the confidence to continue exploring creativity at home.
