Teen Career Workshop: Nursing

As the demand for jobs requiring postsecondary education or specialized training increases, it is imperative that students are college and career ready for higher education. Being college and career ready is an excellent way to increase lifetime earnings and ensure success beyond high school.
We are showcasing a new career field every month! February's spotlight is on nursing. Join us for a presentation and Q&A session from a certified registered nurse (RN) . Learn all about a day in the life of an RN and how they got started in their field. We will be highlighting our digital library resources perfect for anyone ready to jumpstart their career in nursing. Also, get a feel for what it is like to be an nurse by learning useful first aid tactics. Don't miss this opportunity to be inspired and start your journey!
High School students may earn 1 community service hour for attending this program. For ages 13-17.
