Virtual Safety meeting prior to hike so you can be prepared and know what will be happening the day of the hike. Please register so we can send you a link. we will also post it here.
Join WE HIKE on a guided hike that will be on and offtrail.
Meet at 6:30am
This is labeled difficult because there will not be as many breaks and the pace will be moderate. If you can walk for longer periods without breaks then come join us on this adventure.
We will have minimal stops and will stop at the top of Cardiac Hill. On and off trail.

Items needed: Water, 2 liters minimum. Sunscreen, a good hat for protection from the sun as there is no shade on the trail. Snacks are always good to have. Bring any medications you may personally need.

What to Expect:
Join us on this trek in the Franklin Foothills. This is a on trail 2.5 hours hike with amazing scenery.
You may be out of breath and you will want to have plenty of drinks on this short but mighty adventure, decent down a steep grade of equally uneven terrain where you will have to watch every step.
The magic and beauty of the mountains in the morning is like none other in El Paso. Cardiac Climb is going to get your heart racing as you work out this early Saturday morning.
Terrain: Rocky, uneven terrain with a lot of desert life, mountain views and peaceful Moring hike, hiking sticks is a good idea if you have them, and hiking shoes with good grip. The assent is steep and vertical and will give you a cardiac workout starting from the first steps.

Time: 7:00 am
What to Bring: MUST HAVE GRIPPY shoes or hiking shoes. Bring water, 2 liters minimum. Good close toed hiking shoes, hiking poles if you have them, a good hat for protection from the sun as there is no shade on the trail. Snacks are always good to have. Bring any medications you may personally need. Electrolytes are good to have.
