Teen Book Club: The Scorpio Races

It happens at the start of every November: the Scorpio Races. Riders attempt to keep hold of their water horses long enough to make it to the finish line. Some riders live. Others die.
Join our teen book discussion of Maggie Stiefvater's The Scorpio Races. Enjoy a sweet treat unique to the book, explore the author's musical inspiration, and create your own art of Thisby Island (drawn, or written). Suitable for 11 years old and up. Copies of the book can be picked up during the month of October at the Lincoln Branch Library, and is available as ebook or audio book with your library card. Although we encourage you to read the book first, it is not required to attend the book club, and you don't have to finish it.
