🌟 Get Ready for a Creative Adventure! 🌟
My vision for this teen art social: We play music, relax, talk, create and most importantly have fun! One of the projects takes a full 3 hours. The others don't, but we will be creating multiple projects and also just working in some chill time and social time. I don't want this to a be a rushed time where no one has time to chat and get to know one another- hence the 930-1230 timing. My hope is that this group really has time to bond and enjoy each other's company instead of just creating a quick craft and heading out.
Dive into a world of art and nature in this hands-on workshop designed just for teens. Here’s what’s in store:
September: Use dried flowers and stained glass leading paint to create a unique masterpiece! This project takes the whole 3 hours, so plan to start on time!
October: Crushed glass projects! Start by creating a fun pumpkin crushed glass project. Then, design your own. You'll walk away with two projects!
November: We'll learn the art of punch needling! Pick from a few designs that are already drawn out to create. Then, if you have time for a second project, you can design your own and get started on it! You'll have tools to take home to finish anything you start!
December: We are going to make pendants, rings and other fun things using dried flowers and UV resin, and even using some lab grown opals. It's gift giving season, so we'll plan to have lots of fun things to make and create on this day- even some friendship bracelet materials, gift tags, etc. Lots of fun on this day!!
UV resin is very safe compared to regular resin that cures overnight. It is low odor and does not require a respirator. We will be wearing nitrile gloves.
