Teen Art Class at the Yarmouth Farmers Market

Thursday, June 4th from 5:00pm-6:00pm at the Yarmouth Farmers Market.

Learn how to use value to create the illusion of three dimensional form. Using only three colored pencils--dark, midtone, and light--you will learn to see shapes that represent shadow and light. Students will draw from the organic material at the farmers market to create their art.

This one-hour workshop will help you learn to see differently and use your new knowledge to make drawings based on what you see. No experience necessary. All materials provided.

The is located in the heart of Yarmouth, ME on Memorial Green in front of the Town Hall and runs weekly on Thursdays from May to October. Our free classes are offered on the first Thursday of the month, but please be sure to visit the market on other weeks to support the vendors!
