**For educators, parents, students, innovators, facilitators and people of all ages who love learning.** Whether you teach, study, lead a team or are simply curious about how we learn, you are welcome.
### How is learning changing and what should it become?
Education and skill-building are changing faster than ever. AI is rewriting work, traditional classrooms are struggling to keep up, and the skills that matter most are becoming distinctly human.
TEDxChiangMai 2026 is an interactive day of TEDx talks, short talks, performances, hands-on workshops, serious games and activities across the exhibition areas. Together, we will explore active and lifelong learning, AI and education, student perspectives, and how play can help us learn.
### What you will walk away with
* **Tools and methods you can try:** Hands-on experience with serious games, AI learning workflows and active-learning methods you can adapt for your classroom, team or community.
* **Real-world case studies:** Practical ideas from local and international innovators testing alternative education models across Southeast Asia.
* **Time to learn by doing:** Spend nearly four hours in workshops and serious games, trying out ideas and learning with others.
* **Connections and a next step:** Meet educators, founders, community builders and students, then use the closing session to decide what you want to take forward.

A welcome performance followed by TEDx talks exploring changes in education, AI and what learners need.
**10:30–12:30 | Coffee Break and Short Interactive Workshops**
Refreshments followed by a choice of short workshops, serious games and learning activities.
**12:30–13:30 | Lunch and Community Networking**
**13:30–15:30 | Afternoon Workshops and Serious Games**
Longer, parallel sessions to try active-learning methods, explore ideas in depth and learn through play.
**15:30–16:15 | Talk Session 2: Voices from the Field**
Short talks and practical examples from educators, students and learning innovators, including speakers selected through our Open Mic competition.
**16:15–16:30 | Afternoon Break**
**16:30–17:15 | Closing Talk Session 3: The Chiang Mai Horizon**
Final talks connecting the day’s ideas and considering what the future of learning could mean for Chiang Mai and beyond.
**17:15–18:00 | Action Planning and Closing**
Reflect on what you have learned, choose an idea to take forward and connect with others interested in making it happen.

Alongside new workshops and activities in the exhibition areas, we will bring back favourites from our 29 August pre-event, including:
