This is a major environmental community event involving all levels of education from our area. This community engagement event will be overseen by well known scientists from around Australia as well
as Government agencies, Rotarians and industry specialists. As well as beach and bush ‘clean ups’
there will be biodiversity audits and data collection submitted to iNaturalist. Specialist guided
tours will inform and enlighten participants about our special environment. Community scientists
will be able to do night-time entomology observations as well as spotlighting our unique nocturnal
fauna. Birdwatches will undertake a week long sightings audit.
