This will be the 3rd running of the event, first started in 2024 and is one of the best ways to experience the gravel and trails of Angus and Perthshire.
Dundee Thistle CC are hosting the 3rd edition of Teckle Trails. Teckle - meaning great or fantastic. Those from elsewhere in Scotland might say braw!
The event is taking place on Sunday 22nd November 2026 with riders departing from 1030 onwards. HQ is at the Muirhead Scout Hall just outside Dundee.

The event is entirely self supported across a 50km route with approximately 700m of elevation taking you through the rolling Perthshire and Angus countryside. A GPX file will be published a week in advance for riders to use and follow. The course is suitable for both gravel and XC bikes.
Entrants are encouraged to ride the course at a relaxed pace and respect other trail users.
Registration for the event is at the Scout Hall where post ride food and refreshments will be available for all riders.
Entry is £10 on the day with the proceeds after costs aiding club development.
Spot prizes are kindly sponsored by The Bicycle Garage.

Parking is very limited at the Scout Hall so please lift share or cycle to the start where possible. A small number of spaces are available on the road outside registration but be mindful of local residents and do not block event access into Backmuir. The Millennium Hall is also an option. For those driving it’s only a short 5 minute cycle away from the start and registration point.
