Technology Tutorials - Hervey Bay Library - Introduction to Cloud Storage

Event Description: Interactive tutorial aimed at providing information on the basics of how public cloud computing works and as a user, steps you can take to manage your cloud storage.

Laptops will be provided for participants to follow along and learn new skills.

Public libraries are a partnership between Local Government and the Queensland Government through State Library of Queensland.

• Advantages and some disadvantages of cloud computing.
• Examples of some common cloud based apps
• Steps on how to manage your cloud storage
