Techno Alliance brings together two artists from opposite ends of the world for one night on Saturday, September 5.
Midilink cut his teeth playing live at illegal raves with the Tomahawk and Drop'in Caravan sound systems back when the French free party scene was raw and dangerous. That's the same sound system culture immortalized in the film Sirat, and yes, Midilink is part of that world. His sets fuse tribal breakbeat, minimal and psychedelic touches into something hypnotic and groovy that still moves a room decades later.
Keepsakes has been carving out a tough and eclectic corner of techno since 2014 on labels like Boys Noize Records, Perc Trax, and Mord. He runs Haven, the club night and label he built from scratch in a New Zealand scene that had virtually no such music. Expect powerful techno built for proper dancefloors. Rounding it out is resident Zazitech from the Eerie collective, holding it down for the home crowd.
