2025年10月11日・12日、東京で第40回 DMC World DJ Championships が開催される。DMC の歴史の中でも特別な節目。40周年の記念と同時に、永遠のパートナーである Technics も60周年を迎える。
日本は伝説的なターンテーブル Technics SL-1200 の生まれた場所であり、DJカルチャーの金字塔を打ち立てた国。DJ Kentaro、DJ Izoh、DJ Yuto、DJ Rena、そして5度のチーム優勝を果たした Kireek――数々のチャンピオンを生み出してきた舞台でもある。
DMC40 の週末は Studio Freedom のオープニングパーティで始まる。各国代表が世界に紹介される、国境を越えた出会いの場。
翌日は O-East にて、クラシック、スクラッチ、バトル・フォー・サプレマシーのファイナル。独占ショーケースや殿堂入りセレモニーも加わり、一日中ターンテーブリズムに浸れる。
そしてクライマックスは、日本を代表するヒップホップ・ヴェニュー Harlem で。AlphaTheta との共演で The Open の決勝、ライブパフォーマンス、そして特別ゲストDJによるセット。歴史的な週末の幕が閉じるにふさわしい夜になる。

On October 11 & 12, 2025, the 40th edition of the DMC World DJ Championships takes place in Tokyo.
A landmark moment—celebrating 40 years of DMC alongside Technics’ 60th anniversary.
Japan is the birthplace of the legendary Technics SL-1200, the turntable that became the gold standard of DJ culture. It has also given the world champions like DJ Kentaro, DJ Izoh, DJ Yuto, DJ Rena, and five-time team winners Kireek.
The DMC40 weekend begins with the Opening Party at Studio Freedom, where international branches present their national champions. Saturday moves to O-East for a full day of turntablism: the finals of The Classic, Scratch, and Battle for Supremacy, plus exclusive showcases and the Hall of Fame Awards.
The finale unfolds at Harlem—Japan’s premier hip-hop venue—where DMC and AlphaTheta present The Open final, live performances, and special guest DJ sets. A fitting climax to a historic edition.
