Sedona is known for its technical climbing. It’s desert terrain provides endless opportunities for rocky ledges, steep punchy uphills, and loose traction. Given this, it is the perfect location to refine your climbing skills with the instruction of a certified coach! Join Level 3 BICP Coach Evan and gain a better understanding on how to ascend with more precision and skill.
Morning Skills Session:
This day-long clinic will start at the Sedona Bike Park where we will thoroughly review correct body position on uphills, the different types of climbing, and wheel lifts.
Delicious Lunch Options:
A catered boxed lunch alongside the SMBA staff for an hour is an opportunity to connect on the clinic’s content or chat general mtb tips&tricks.
Afternoon Trail Session:
Our afternoon session will exclusively be on Sedona’s trails, seeking out iconic climbs and alternative lines known by the local SMBA staff.
This clinic is tailored for riders who identify as strong beginners through strong intermediates. The group size will be small, ensuring plenty of individualized feedback for each participant.
