About this Event
Tech Intersections is a one-day conference created by and for women of color in technology. Since its founding, the conference has provided a space for leadership development, technical training, and community building — centering the brilliance, innovation, and resilience of women who are too often excluded from the tech industry.
The 2026 conference will take place on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Mills College at Northeastern University in Oakland, California.
This year’s theme, Community is Resistance: Building Tech Together, speaks directly to the moment. In 2025, more than 300,000 Black women were laid off from the tech sector, a staggering loss that underscores how systemic inequities continue to impact the most marginalized groups in tech. Tech Intersections 2026 is an example of how women continue to show up for one another and build pathways of resistance, solidarity, and innovation.
For the first time, tickets will be free to the public, breaking down financial barriers and ensuring that more women of color can access the resources, mentorship, and networks they need to thrive. Attendees will learn from 30 dynamic speakers leading sessions on technical skills, leadership, entrepreneurship, and social justice in tech.
Grab your tickets as seats are limited.
