Discover the art of hand-built teapots in this guided, creative course designed for all skill levels. Learn essential hand-building techniques—such as slab construction, coils, and attachments—to create a fully functional and expressive teapot without using a pottery wheel.
You’ll focus on thoughtful design elements including spouts, lids, handles, and balance, while adding surface texture and decorative details to make your teapot truly one of a kind.
Throughout the course, you’ll refine your form, explore personal style, and learn best practices for building durable, pour-friendly pieces!
No prior experience is required. Whether you follow a provided design or bring your own ideas, you’ll finish with a handmade teapot that’s both beautiful and functional, glazed and ready to use!
$160 per person for 2 hours of hands on instruction for 4 weeks. Price includes materials.
7 person maximum per class. Must be 14 years old and have a guardian sign a waiver if under 18.
Pieces will be available for pick up 3 weeks after your final class date. We will only hold them for up to 30 days.
