KHB and HCPL are excited to have you join us for our Team Up to Cleanup Mountain View Park. The park is located at 5426 N. Cove Road, Gainesville, GA 30504.
Below you will find detailed information pertaining to the cleanup. Please read over the information carefully.
PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN INFORMATION: All participants must register seperately. Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m. with our cleanup beginning at 8:00 a.m. We anticipate that the wrap up time for the cleanup will be around 10:00 a.m.
AGE REQUIREMENTS: Volunteers of any age are welcome at any of our cleanups, just keep in mind that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult who is of age 21 years or older.
IMPORTANT DETAILS AND WHAT TO BRING: Volunteers are asked to bring a positive attitude and clothes that can get DIRTY; a change of clothes is encouraged! Sturdy closed-toe shoes are required. Long sleeves and long pants are highly encouraged.
Our cleanups often involve getting in or near water and collecting trash that is typically covered with sediment. Be ready to get dirty! We promise you'll have fun and there are always great pictures taken.
Cleanup supplies including gloves, trash bags, picker sticks, and hand sanitizer will be provided, but feel free to bring your own as some supplies are limited.
Participants are asked to bring their own reuseable water bottles, however, we will have some snacks and drinks available if you forget it.
Specific event details will be emailed to you a few days prior to the event (confirming location, times, what to bring, expectations, weather, trash disposal plan, etc.).
All volunteers will receive a complimentary annual membership to KHB for their time and service.
CANCELLATIONS: Our participant's safety comes first! If we must cancel due to weather, we will notify all registered participants via email prior to the cleanup.
