The Veterans Phalanx is heading to Gracie’s Kitchen for Team Mess Hall, a Next Objective: Continuing Service event focused on serving our local community.
This is a hands-on service opportunity where volunteers will help cook, serve food, and clean up for people in our community. Think of it like a soup kitchen model: the food and supplies will already be there and ready. What is needed most is people willing to show up, work together, and serve.
This event is part of the larger mission of Next Objective: Continuing Service — giving veterans, families, supporters, and community members a way to keep serving side by side after the uniform, in practical and meaningful ways.
Volunteer Window:
12:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Volunteers are welcome anytime during that window, but the biggest needs are:
Cooking Team:
2:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Service Team:
4:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Cleanup:
The final 1.5 hours of the event will focus on cleaning up and leaving the space better than we found it.
You do not need special experience to help. Come ready to work, serve, and be part of something useful. All hands are needed.
Veterans are encouraged to come out, but this event is open to anyone who wants to stand with The Veterans Phalanx and serve the community.
