Join us for a rather lovely morning creating your own miniature felted scene, nestled inside a delicate china teacup. This beginner-friendly workshop is designed for those new to needle felting, and you’ll be gently guided through the basics as you shape soft sheep’s wool into a small, story-like setting. Choose from a Mushroom Forest, a Fairy Garden, a Lavender Country Home & Field, or something entirely of your own imagining. Along the way, you’ll learn how to build a base for your scene and create the individual elements that bring it to life, such as tiny houses, mushrooms, and little creatures. Most of your piece will be completed during class, though you’re welcome to continue adding finer details at home. Wool and felting needles are included in the class fee so you can keep working if you wish. All materials are provided except the teacup, please bring one of your own, or bring $7 to purchase one before class from your instructor.Please no outside food or beverages or tumblers, instead ,consider a purchase from NautiMI’s wonderful cafe and coffee counter!
