Teaching Through Connection, Leading with Purpose is a premier professional learning conference created to inspire, equip, and empower early childhood professionals through meaningful connections, innovative ideas, and practical leadership development.

Centered on the belief that leadership exists at every level of the profession, this conference is designed for educators, child care providers, administrators, directors, owners, advocates, and community leaders who are committed to strengthening the future of early childhood education. Participants will engage in thought-provoking sessions that encourage innovation, foster collaboration, and provide actionable strategies that can be implemented immediately within their classrooms, programs, and organizations.

Conference sessions will focus on leadership development, supporting children and families with neurodivergence, innovative and non-traditional child care models, including 24-hour child care, addressing the challenges of rural child care deserts, strengthening community partnerships, and fostering cross-border collaboration between Montana and Canadian early childhood professionals. Throughout the day, attendees will gain valuable insight from nationally recognized speakers, local leaders, and subject matter experts who are passionate about advancing the early childhood profession.

The conference will feature Mr. Ty, The Childcare Whisperer, as the featured keynote speaker, along with presentations from Kyla Penner, Founder of KP² Innovative Childcare; Michael Vaughn, DNP, PPCNP-BC, Leader of Bright Horizons Pediatric Neurodevelopment Clinic; and Great Falls Mayor Cory Reeves, who will speak on leadership through service and the impact of strong community leadership.

With an anticipated attendance of up to 400 early childhood professionals from Montana and Canada, Teaching Through Connection, Leading with Purpose provides a unique opportunity to learn from industry leaders, build lasting professional relationships, and strengthen the early childhood workforce. Attendees will leave inspired, connected, and equipped with practical tools to build leaders, support every child, and strengthen the communities they serve.
