UVA researchers and educators will share how AI is influencing their fields, followed by interactive sessions led by experienced classroom teachers, exploring:

• Using AI for instructional planning of scientific investigations

• Using AI to support differentiation in the science classroom, including vocabulary development and writing instruction

• Using AI in instruction on interpreting graphs, plots, and data

• Designing meaningful assessments in an age of student AI use
