Join the MSU Extension team, Program for Local Adaptation to Climate Effects, and the Mississippi Sound Estuary Program for an engaging, hands-on Glass Roots Teacher Workshop on June 25-26 at the MSU Coastal Research & Extension Center in Biloxi, MS!
This interactive professional development event will introduce middle school educators (grades 5-8) to the Glass Roots program, where students grow marsh and dune restoration plants in recycled glass sand while exploring the vital role these ecosystems play in climate resilience and watershed management.
