Delve into Shedd's latest research exploring the role of macroinvertebrates (animals without a backbone, viewable without a microscope) and microhabitats (small areas that differ from the surrounding habitat) in assessing habitat health. Discover how the floating wetlands on the river are enhancing biodiversity there, and how sewer overflows impact wildlife.
