Participants will explore key events in Maryland’s path toward revolution and the leadership of notable colonial figures, including William Paca, Charles Carroll of Carrollton, Thomas Stone, and Samuel Chase. Educators will hear from historians to gain deeper insights and discuss practical ways to incorporate Maryland history into the classroom.
Whether you’re teaching early American history or looking to enrich your curriculum with local perspectives, this workshop offers valuable insights for enlivening your classroom material.
There is no cost for educators to attend this program, but advance registration is required.
