Join Us for the Third “Tea Talk” Series Celebrating

“Hanami” (花見) & Ohio’s Japanese Sister Cities

Join us for our third Tea Talk, a cross-cultural event celebrating the cherry blossom viewing （花見）tradition over tea tasting and featuring Ohio’s Japanese sister cities! As part of the 5th Annual Greater Columbus Cherry Blossom Festival, this Tea Talk explores the ceremonial practices, histories, and philosophies behind Chinese ceremonial black tea and Japanese Sencha green tea.

Through guided tasting and conversations, Presenters Akisa Fukuzawa and Ruth Lu invite participants to experience how tea functions both an everyday practice and a cultural art form in East Asia. Also we’ll introduce Japanese sister cities and their long-term friendship with the state of Ohio.

Admission $25/person includes lunch and tea tasting. RSVP by Wednesday, April 1st.
