Tea Ceremony and Sound Journey with Jia

We will start with the Chinese Tea Ceremony, a serene and mindful practice that invites participants to slow down and connect with the present moment. As we gather for our sound healing session, let us set our intentions through the gentle rhythm of this ancient ritual.

Selecting high-quality tea, boiling water to the perfect temperature, and carefully pouring each cup creates a tranquil atmosphere, allowing us to release tension and cultivate inner peace. With each sip, we can reflect on our intentions, inviting harmony and clarity into our hearts.

Let this calming experience prepare us to fully embrace the healing sounds that will follow, enhancing our journey toward relaxation and rejuvenation.

Please be on time or plan to arrive 15 mins early. The door will be locked 10 minutes after the event time. Our door is right next to the Pumphouse Cafe. Please look for a glass door with " the Studio 1016". Weekend or evening access: please ring the doorbell in the mail box. We will get the door for you. We have a parking lot next to the building and free street parking. BUT BE AWARE THE SIGN for some areas.

Our tea house requests that you leave your shoes off for our sacred space; feel free to bring your socks if you don't like being barefoot. This event is not refundable if you can’t make it at the last minute. Please let us know at least 2 days ahead. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Originating from the rich cultural tapestry of Yunnan, she not only brews a perfect cup but also connects with her roots through dance and song. With a vibrant spirit, Jia is a talented dancer and singer, captivating her audience with movements that tell stories and melodies that evoke emotions.

In her performances, she incorporates the mesmerizing sounds of traditional instruments from her hometown and crystal singing bowls. These delicate sounds create a serene atmosphere and elevate the mind, body, and soul. Jia blends her love for tea with the beautiful, harmonious sounds from the Yunnan minority group, sharing a unique cultural experience that resonates with those around her.
