Join us for an afternoon celebrating 125 years of Duke Ellington with the amazing vocal jazz of Laura Camara and the Jake Reed Trio.
Laura Camara and the Jake Reed Trio have been lighting up stages all over Ohio since 2018. Comprised of Columbus’ top jazz musicians such as Bradley Mellen on Bass, Tony Bonardi on Piano, Jake Reed on drums, and Laura Camara on vocals. They'll be celebrating 125 years of one of the most important voices in jazz, Duke Ellington. Innovative arrangements by Laura Camara and the rest of the band explore the vast array of colors and textures in the music, paying reverent respect but also creating exciting new surprises for even experienced listeners of the Ellington oeuvre.
