Jack, a tea producer and traditional ink painter from Taiwan, will present his exclusive artisanal Oolongs, which hold the craftsmanship and deep culture of his mother island. After years of learning about tea, traveling from one tea mountain to another with his great tea master Venus, he created the tea brand “reasona.tea” to share the amazement and love he found during this journey. Watching wild deer nibble the fresh leaves, fighting their way through overwhelming silver-grass with blade-like edges, through climate, exhaustion, and countless challenges, their effort becomes tea. Master Venus always says, “The only thing you can do is to do everything with your heart.”, so it is not just tea — it carries their hearts and stories. Besides the opportunity to taste the four artisanal Oolongs: “Muntjac Deer Oolong”, “Flying Geese Oolong”, “Wild Forest Oolong — The Spirit of the Forest” and “Wild Forest Oolong — The Bee’s Breath”, we will get the chance to listen to all the stories behind the teas, accompanied by his beautiful paintings, which capture the moments in time during their tea adventures.
Some words from Jack:
"Sometimes, after drinking tea, what lingers is its gentle sweetness and aroma. Other times, it stirs something deeper emotions from the past, forgotten details of memory, quietly awakened. And often, when sharing tea, a wordless bond is formed, a connection beyond language itself.
I hope its fragrance and sweetness resonate with you & I hope to resonate with you through tea!"
While we experience the tea and listen to Jack's stories, “Amy & her quiet experiments” will tune in to the resonance and amplify it through her Ambient Soundscape. Based on how the atmosphere and energies fill the room, her soundscapes will invite you to deepen your thoughts, perception, and connection to the art surrounding us.
Woven into the space, Natalie’s flower installations hold their own quiet resonance in the room. Rooted in the Japanese art of Sogetsu Ikebana, her work uses line, space, and seasonal material to explore the tension between structure and intuition — a beauty shaped by presence, impermanence, and observation.
