About the Book
'Sense and Sensibility' follows the lives of two sisters, Elinor and Marianne Dashwood, as they experience love, heartbreak, and financial hardship after their father dies. It's Jane Austen's debut novel, appearing in 1811. It was published anonymously: By A Lady appears on the title page where the author's name might have been.
If you don't usually read classics, this is a good opportunity to try something new and watch how a book published more than 200 years ago can still be adapted today.
